Let me tell you...
When I was young, I ran barefoot across the farm, climbed trees and built forts. I loved sunshine, wildflowers and a St. Bernard named Jenny. Before I was a teenager, I was uprooted from the Dakota prairie and transplanted to the Sonoran Desert. It took me a few years to warm up to the desert, but now, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love sunset arroyo walks, a stately saguaro and a wild summer monsoon. And nothing warms my heart like seeing baby quail scramble up the path behind their mama.
My favorite hat to wear will always be that of 'Mom.' I miss the simpler days when we homeschooled and went on adventures together. But I love seeing my children grow and flourish into the people they are called to be.
I spent many seasons as an elementary school teacher. Over the years, I've been able to transform my photography hobby into the thing that I do every single day. I get to do my dream job in a multitude of settings and I love the constant challenge that comes with creating. Let me snap that!
